In July 2012, Melbourne will be hosting the Australian Law Students' Association annual conference.

Dates: 9th - 16th July, 2012

This conference will see over 500 law students descend on Melbourne for Activities (including two Gala dinners, Pub Crawls and Cocktail Evenings), Legal Education Forums, the National Championships for law competitions (such as Mooting and Client Interview) and the tri-annual council meeting for ALSA.

 

Australian Law Students' Association

ALSA is a national not-for-profit association comprising all Law Student Societies and Law Student Associations. The core functions of ALSA are:

  • To advocate the interests and concerns of Australian law students;
  • To gather and disseminate information of interest and concern to Australian law students;
  • To facilitate communication and the exchange of information between law student societies, within Australia and abroad; and
  • To initiate activities of a social, intellectual, and competitive nature among law students at a national level.
